To float away into your own little snow globe of magic and endless time – just creating and nothing else, is happiness, right? And then there are those special times, where everything works – or you at least make it work after a couple of tries. The picture or concept in your head gets out through your hands and at the end you can look at your making and smile. That’s the best of times.
I always try to remember to take photos of my makings – good and bad – to remember them by and also to learn from them. And today I took a trip down last year’s paper-memory lane and remembered the best of my projects. Not necessarily the ones, that brought the most happiness to others – or the ones, which was the best crafted or most beautiful, but the ones that gave me the most happiness to make.

And the winner was this one.It is a rather big Christmas/winther project – 25 cm. tall, 16 cm. wide and 6 cm. deep at the bottom.
I didn’t know the size, form or how it would end up looking untill the very last minut. I knew, I would make a winter scene with some of Stamperias Winter Tales papers. That’s all.
I played with all kinds of paste, flakes, glitter, markers, crayons, inks, – many different kinds of paper and cardstock, – different brands of design papers, some dies and a lot of fuzzycutting.
I did things, I’ve never tried before – and some of them, I haven’t even heard about. I did a lot of wrong and mistakes – and then had to find other ways to go. I used all my skills on this one and took me days to make and it was so much fun.
