Birthday Card – Bohemian Style

It’s always good to have some versatile birthday cards lying around, suitable for any occasion. My box was suddenly completely empty so I had to look to make some new ones. On the first card I finished, I used different colors and scraps.

The base of the card is bazzill, then I have used two layers of designer paper.
In the middle I have attached three strips of ribbon in different colours. The motif is from a cut sheet and it is attached to the panel with 3D pads.
The decoration is of different colors and materials. I have used enamels, stickers, paper clips and flowers.

The inside of the card is decorated simply, but a little differently than I usually do. There are two layers of designer sheets here and they are not the same. I have used what I had lying around and which matched the colors I have chosen.
The text in the middle is from the bottom part of a sheet. They are attached to a bazzill which is attached across the card.

I have bought some pre-cut tags in kraft cardboard that I bought at Søstrene Grene. The birthday texts are stamped with dark brown color before I attached them to the card. Used the same ribbon as on the front and a paper clip as decoration.

There is a tag on this page too. I have chosen to decorate one with paper clips to retrieve a bit from the front of the card. There is plenty of space to write your personal greeting here.

It’s fun to use a slightly different layout and materials than you usually use. Different designer sheets, but they all fit together and then it works fine. At least for me.

Hope you were inspired to be a little creative this weekend and use some materials you rarely use.
