Storing memories

How do you store your memories? I myself would store my photos in regular photo albums. When I started paper crafting, I came across so many other ideas. Today I will be sharing how I like storing my memories.

This first memory keeping ideas are “Scrapbook Layouts”

I have created so many layouts with photos of my children, grandchildren, fur babies and more.  You can frame them, put them into scrapbook albums, if they are not too dimensional like mine, or hang them on a wall. When I began crafting I was intimated to create these and when I finally jumped into it, I was addicted! So that’s the first idea for memory keeping.

Next are Mini Albums

These are so fun to create and you can create some for holidays, weddings, just like a photo album, these are similar but with added designs. You can also create them from scratch, many tutorials online, or use blank premade chipboard albums, ringed albums, folios, paper bag mini albums.

You can add photos onto the photo mats, there are a variety of sizes that you can add from 4 x 6 and the smallest being 2.5 x 3.5. There are also places like tags and/or journal spots that you can write  about the memories that took place. I sometimes like to use a “camera” stamp on my mats but it isn’t necessary.

This last memory keeping idea I have is altered art such as altered embroidery hoops

I love altering these embroidery hoops and adding photos. Altered trays are another way to add photos too, they make beautiful home decor too!

I do have to catch up on printing and adhering my photos onto all of my albums. You can find so much inspiration online. My go to is Pinterest but there are so many memory keeping ideas online. I do hope that I sprinkled some inspiration your way!

Well friends time to go but I will be back in June with some more fun ideas but until then I hope you will keep coming by to see what the rest of the TPC design team  have in store See you soon!
