The Elegant Style

The “Elegant” style invites the clean and simple, but is at the same time sophisticated. Often it is a metallic effect againt white color which gives the elegant finish to a project. Think of wedding rings and wedding dress and you will know exactly what I mean.

Occasion

Can be used for all occasions, but is often used for wedding projects.

Motif

The motifs are often from the animal and plant kingdom. If it is an engagement or wedding project, the subject is usually a couple in love.

Shape/pattern

Circles, ovals, squares and rectangles. Preferably curved patterns (swirls), flower and plant patterns.

Colors

White preferably combined with gold, silver or copper. If other colors are used, it is usually to a rather limited extent. There is a lot of air (“white space”) on the projects.

decorATION

Paper projects in this style often use flowers, swirls, pearls and other decorative elements in white. Lace and doilies are also used quite a bit on elegant paper projects.

Techniques

Dry embossing/embossing is often used to give life to the white that is most often dominant on the project. In addition, heat embossing with a metallic effect is often used on text and the like.
