I am not a card maker, but… sometimes I feel I have to make them for a special occasion. When I do I like to make them as a tag because somehow, I find it so much more easy to work in that format. Kind of silly as it should not make a difference but nevertheless it makes a big difference to me.

The most recent occasion was this year’s high school graduation or as we say in Swedish Studenten when I “needed” to make cards.
I like to keep my cards Clean and Simple (CAS) and to add something small and artsy to get the simple design to catch the eye.
A great way to make a CAS card look interesting is to stamp a colored circle on the card using a small round gel plate. I used some chipboard shapes to make the pattern.
I have also used a small rectangular gel plate to make a background print. This time I added som stenciling to get a cool effect.
On this card I used a feather chip board from Dina Wakley Media as a mask for the background.
On this card I added some distress ink around the edges and a leaf stamp and a script stamp as the background.
Do you make CAS cards? I would love to see them! Let us now and use #TPCMagazine and #CAScard .
