When to use Season’s Greetings
When do you use Season’s Greeting in your cards? For me, I use it for those who do not celebrate Christmas but acknowledges this time as a season of goodwill. I also use Happy Holidays as well.

Today’s Season Greetings Card

For today’s card I am using Season’s Greetings in a CAS style (Clean and Simple). It is a swing card with a window component which shows two beautiful images coloured very brightly in red, green and yellow colours
Target Audience?
This card is especially for a young couple. It could be from a young couple or for a young couple. For those who have both types of furry friends… you can use this also. It is versatile.
Designing my Season’s Greetings Swing Card

The design was part paper piecing and double die-cutting. For the window element, I used a rectangular die-cut shape which I had to use twice to get the length of the window I wanted. Using white card stock, I stuck the die down with temporary tape, I drew lines with a pencil on either side. This made it easy for the next cut as I had to place the die higher on the card stock to get the desired height (partially on the cut out shape) So the pencil guides were helpful.
Making the Season’s Greetings Tag
Next I die-cut the words “Season’s Greetings” for the front of the card in gold foil and green. The words and out line are by paper rose. I like how the words ‘pop’ on top of the outline… adds a lot of volume.
Colouring the images seen through the window

The images I chose are by Inky Antics and they really give you a warm snuggly vibe. We may not have fire sides in the Caribbean but we definitely get cooler temps during the Christmas Season where you do… snuggle… to warm up, lol! To colour, I used Crafter’s Companion’s Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers.

Putting the card together

Next I glued the window element (scored at the top) which is in the foreground to white card stock in a gate fold pattern. I glued over the folded edge so the card looks seamless. I then added the coloured images onto the background and added paper pieces in red. To the front of the card I added the “Season’s Greetings” Tag and a spare piece of red cardstock.
Hope you enjoyed this beautiful card and I look forward to sharing more of my card designs with you.
