“Doodley” is a style where drawing and journaling are in focus. This is very popular in for example Bullet Journals, but also on cards and layout you will occasionally find doodling, handwriting and drawing.

SHAPE/PATTERN
Circles with uneven lines, sometimes incomplete. Otherwise free drooling without any particular pattern.

DECORATION
On paper projects in this style, swirls and similar arc shapes are often used. Stenciling and misting are also used to some extent on paper projects in the “Doodley” style.
TECHNIQUES
Doodling, or stamps and stencils that give a doodling effect, are used on paper projects within this style. The drooling is often combined with handwriting, either real or made using stamps and the like.
