Sometimes I go to crops and meet other creative friends for a weekend. I love the atmosphere of creativity and I always go home with new ideas and many new projects. The last time this my lovely friend Birgitta started to make beautiful minibooks with accordion spine. It didn’t take long until most of the ladies at our table were making minibooks, even I who normally do not do minibooks.

At the crops there are usually some scrapbooking shops and I tend to buy too much of things that I then never use. This time the stunning laser design sheets caught my eye.I couldn’t resist the cute and beautiful designs and used some of them in my minibook.
Birgitta also used Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the eyes of the designs, so I did that too. Another inspiring lady at the crop, I cannot remember her name, but she was from Denmark, used stickles and stones on her design so I had to try that too.
Using quotes of Shakespeare is my own idea though. Love looking at the pages and reading some inspiring words.
I cannot wait to go to my next crop and get new ideas, LIFT them, and then, as time goes by, integrate some of the ideas into my own style and advance my techniques and grow as an artist.
