I love making landscapes and scenes. Especially winter themed cards. And if you add fairies into that it’s pure joy for me to create.
When making scenes and landscapes I always create what’s in the background first and move forward layer by layer using stencils and stamps.
So I start in the back with the forrestshaped stencil and stamp furs and trees in front ofit. In the front I stamp the fairy and the hare like they’re talking to each other.

I sprinkled some water on it and dried up the drops carefully with a paper towel to make it look like snowfall.
then I diecut a frame of twigs and borders of snowflakes. I added shimmer and sparkle on these layers with opal polish and embossing powder. Then I sprinkled some enamel embossing powder – frantage and melted from underneath to add even more to the snowfall.

I cut out the name of the birthday girl and embossed the letters in glitter and gold. Then I framed it with green cardstock and put it on a card base.

I have to revisit these landscapes soon. It’s so soothing to create and I say winter is coming with a smile!
