Classic Style

The classic style within paper craft refers to cards and layouts as they often appeared right after the turn of the millennium. Geometric shapes such as squares and circles are a lot used and the decoration mostly consists of simple flowers and similar.

OCCASION
Can be used for all occasions.

MOTIF
Often a human motif with a somewhat childish expression. The motifs on classic cards are often stamped and colored if these are people or animals.

COLORS
No specific colors. Embellishment/decoration: On classic paper projects you will often find flowers, pearls, die cuts and other traditional paper decorations.

TECHNIQUES
When it comes to the motifs on classic paper projects, these are often stamped and colored. The frames around the motifs are often square, either made by hand or using die cutting. Classic paper projects also often have square panels/mats under the motifs. As a rule, design paper is used rather than self-made backgrounds.
