I do not make many cards but when I do I often build them up the same way as I build up my layouts. First I build up a cluster of decorations around the sentiment. I often glue all of the pieces together but I do not glue them down on the card base. Then I make the background. This time I used distress oxide on a stamp block and added som water and smooched it to the card base. When dry, I added some rub-ons. The position of the rub-ons are easy when the decoration cluster is already made. The last thing I add are a few small item like washi stickers and perhaps a few stains.
